A suggestion is to look for sophisticated angel investors who not only will be able to provide you start up monies, but can also provide valuable insight into business issues that you will eventually face – especially since you are knee deep at the ground floor. A vested partner or set of partners will allow you to mature more quickly, with of course you understanding that they expect to share in the wealth. I did the same thing when starting MyOnlineToolBox.com, an internet solution that targets the small mobile contractor in home repair and remodeling. The hardest part is ensuring that you are well prepared to solicit the funds. I suggest you joining a local angel forum or go online to learn the traditional requirements. And by the way, we are still seeking additional rounds of capital for interested parties.
