Do I need a business plan?
FSB recommends that you write a business plan before contacting investors. Do recommend any favorite resources on business-plan writing?

YES. I'd highly recommend a SCORE session (www.score.org). They provide free counseling and templates for materials such as business plans. They have offices all over the country, so finding someone near you to help should be pretty easy.
