How can I cash in on my inventions?

How have you been able to leverage your patented products? Help this fellow FSB reader license or sell his technologies by sharing how you attracted investors or reached out to manufacturers.

I own a company in Georgia looking for new products to expand our current line. I'd love to get in touch with George.

My company chutzpatent – invents innovations that change the world. How do we license, sell and commercialize them? You need a lot of chutzpa!

One very good example — we could not get a meeting with a particular company that we wanted as a strategic partner. Nothing helped, including flowers for the secretary etc

Finally, we built a very basic model, flew across the Atlantic and just showed up at the company's main headquarters. We sat in the lobby all day showing visitors our model and answering questions.

Finally, after several hours, the VP licensing we wanted to meet with ushered us in to his offices . . . and the rest is history

In short, you really have to believe in your invention and this belief must really show when you demonstrate it, talk about it etc.

Good luck

I am intrigued by this topic as people deserve concrete answers for their own great ideas! Hopefully your post will open revenue streams to many creative minds!

I've leveraged my MITA brain based business model in several exciting ways, and continue to do so for gain. Yet it's rarely easy at the start.

Thanks for the good information here — which sparked a blog on this topic at Brain Based Business that will post later today. I'll link my blog back to your own great idea — with thanks.

I also look forward to reading what your entrepreneurs and business brains have to offer! Ellen
