A church group is considering opening a nonprofit coffee shop on church grounds. Have you been involved in a spin-off venture of a nonprofit organization? What did you do?
I am the franchisee of Jo to Go in Kansas City and I currently lease space from my church and operate a coffee shop inside it. It has been going on for a year — the members love it, the church loves it, and it has been very successful.
