From rosemarie rockaway beach ny i have tenants from hell, but hopefully they will be out officially they abandoned the apartment now her daughter wants to take me to court and sue me HA the bottom line as a landlord dont be too nice, do your homework get a lease from hell which states they cant blow their nose too loud without a complaint us landlords should have rights too, unfortunately the tenants have more rights then we do so when they trash your apartment or house and you are left with thousands of dollars of repairs dont feel bad about their feelings just do what has to be done before its too late

I agree "do what you have to do before it's too late". I have had a similar situation recently. The tenants from hell that rented from me destroyed the home by altering everything from door locks, replacing all the window blinds with cheap ones, sloppy painting & painting over oak trim, to cutting into the electrical and plumbing for their washer/dryer to put on the back porch intead of utility room. Why??? Doesn't make since??? Looks as though they purposely & knowingly destroyed the home and I was the target. Tenants definetly have more rights! It was a nightmare. They left in the middle of the night oweing. I lost so much money and still have thousands of dollars of debt and repairs. Never will rent to anyone again! I feel for you and wish you the best.
