Social networking sites are popping up everywhere offering almost the same features and services. The question is: How my website will stand up and differentiate against those already well established one? The answer is simply: Be original in what you offer to your community members and you should generate interest and happy returning members. Javier From work-online

"Content come first, visitors come second." One of the golden rules beginning webmaster should know and keep in mind. If they find what they are looking for, they will keep coming. Getting external tools (website content), using search engine when your website don't have solid contents is a waste of time and money. Focus on your contents first. Search engine will get you sooner or later. Remember building a website is easy, running a website is the hardest part, it takes alot. It's even harder if you are trying to run a community website.

Well you've done with with the first step. Getting your question featured on cnn.com is a nice way to get some exposure!

Another thing you might do is add a little community to your site by letting others know who has visited your site lately. A little shameless promotion here but MyBlogLog (mybloglog.com) is a cool little widget which features a photo of the most recent visitors to your site. When people come to your site and see a different set of faces each time, it gets them interested in each other and coming back for more.

Good luck!
