My wife and I run a mobile service business. In order to get a business license from the county, we had to pay a fee to run the office out of our home (zoning already permitted it). Then we had to file a fictitious name notice ond other business permits that the state requires with the state's division of corporations. (online, ten minutes, fees paid on line) Then off to the courthouse, paid a small fee, and we were done. All in a space of three days. This area of Florida is extremely friendly to small business
