A great place to go for direct marketing lists is infoUSA. They help you pinpoint exactly what type of consumer/business that you are looking to reach and then sell you the list. They can be as broad as giving you all the contacts in a certain state, but can also pinpoint it down to household income, gender, marital status, etc. On the business side, they can narrow it down by size of business, sales volume, location, etc. They are fairly inexpensive, considering they have the highest deliverability rate in the industry. Just something to think about when targeting customers.

That is good advice, and I have often thought about using mailers or circulars just for promoting a Website or business. I do not know how effective or costly this would be, as I am sure every district has their price quotes. It may also be hard to do the analytical count on response as well.
