Dear Nikki: As a small business owner you are pressed for time and can not be expected to be an expert on insurance. That is why my advice would be to find an Insurance Agent who IS an expert in insurance AND an expert of your type of business. When it comes to your business, you do not want a commodity, "one product to fit all industries" type policy. Rather you want a policy that is tailored to your type of business. Look to local associations, agencies and insurance companies that understand your industry/business.
