Do I need a license to sell my photographs?

I am a Mom who loves to take pictures at sporting events. I have shared these pictures of the kids with their parents, mostly at my expense. This has made my hobby very expensive. If I ask the parents to pay for the pictures, will I need a business license? What do you recommend? Leave a comment with your answer.
