Here are resources to boost your site's online visibility (almost all are free):
1. Open google analytics and google webmaster tools accounts to rtack your site visitor and other statistics.
2. Make sure your site has SEO friendly URL's, such as: site.com/blue-widget/ instead of bad: site.com/product?id=1234
3. Write good, interesting articles describing your products/services. Make sure each article has something useful and interesting for readers.
4. Publish few articles, describing your products and services at: ezinearticles.com with backlinks to your site from it's resource box. Make sure these are unique articles, not copies of your site.
5. Approach your city's business and local directories to see if they'll publish link to your site.
6. Publish press release ($80+ per release) at prweb.com – great tool for online visibility at google news and other important places.
7. Consider getting $300/yr link from yahoo business directory to boost your online rank.
8. Search/comment at online blog describing your business. Some blogs allows putting backlinks – use this with keyword rich anchor text. Search for relevant blogs at blogsearch.google.com
9. If you sell consumer-popular products and have decent profit margins – consider opening affiliate program at one of the popular affiliate networks. This cost upfront + monthly but it could greatly boost your profits by essentially having "army" of online resellers driving new customers to you.
10+ … There are few more things you can do that may sound too agressive, so I won't mention them here.

All the best to you.
